Knocked Up - Best Romantic Comedy Movie

Of all the romantic comedy movies, Knocked Up has taken out number one position on our list of bearable romantic films, due mostly to the efforts of Seth Rogan and company making this more enjoyable than any other romance films we have been made to watch. There is something in this film for everyone, and while it does degenerate into the usual half baked love story at the end, some of the first three quarters of the film is actually funny. Seth Rogan may be reaching market saturation point at the moment, but this is about as good as it gets when it comes to romantic comedy films, romantic comedy dvds, and romantic comedy blu ray. Knocked Up is an ideal candidate to buy romantic comedy movies online as you can probably stand it, and once purchased it will spend most of its useful life on the shelf gathering dust, but you can use it to put off any new purchases of romcoms. For our money, this is the best romantic comedy, but we still find "best romantic comedy" a contradiction in terms.

Princess Bride - 2nd Best Romantic Comedy Movie

A classic of the romantic comedy movies, The Princess Bride has been around a long time and there probably aren't many people that have not seen this comedy romantic. The story is engaging, and takes place in a decent setting, and comes complete with some main characters that clearly do not like the genre, or at least pretend not to. This film can often earn you twice as many points with the person making you watch it as this is a rom com within a fairytale setting. Usually twice as bad to watch, but in this case bearable. Of the rom coms, and romcom movies, this is a strong second place finisher. Not too bad.

Something About Mary - 3rd Best Romantic Comedy Movie

Something of a classic, elements of this movie have entered popular culture, although are waning now due to the age of the movie. A pioneer featuring some off color jokes (yes, the hair scene) to provide some enjoyment for the other side of the audience, There's Something About Mary is worth a rewatch, if you have to. As a romantic films, it bears watching among many other romantic comedies and romance films that do not. A strong romcom, if ever there was such a thing as a strong rom com in our opinion.

Superbad - 4th Best Romantic Comedy Movie

This romantic comedy could have a legitimate gripe against being included in the romantic comedy movies and romantic films genre, being more of a comedy. However, there is a love story of sorts at its core, and thus we believe Superbad sits within romantic comedies, romance films, and romcoms fairly and squarely. There are some genuine laughs during this film, and the McLovin character is very good, as is some of the dialogue. Again Seth Rogan and pals are to be given credit for allowing this film to have become a romantic comedy films that we can bear to watch. One for you to collect, and if you have to actually watch a romantic comedy film in the theatre, and you can find this one somewhere near you, then this is our pick. Secondly, this is a strong consideration for purchasing a romantic comedy blu ray online.

My Best Friends Girl - 5th Best Romantic Comedy Movie

A surprise 5th place in our list goes to My Best Friends Girl. This is mostly due to the profoundly dysfunctional aspect of this romantic comedy within the genre. It almost appears to be a parody of romantic films and romantic comedies at the beginning, and provides some moments of genuine amusement. Unfortunately it succumbs to what executives believe makes a commercial success, but prior to that this romance film might give you a laugh or two and sets it apart from the other comedy romantic. Jason Biggs makes a few laughs here, but also provides the serious side of the story.
